Our designers worked closely with Willmott Dixon and their team of architects to arrive at a design solution for cladding the concrete portal frame of the building using our 150mm SIP system. The majority of the panels were 4 to 4.5 meters tall and close attention had to be paid to ensuring airtightness when we were installing them. This building later achieved an air permeability rating of 3.65 (m3/h per m2).
We believe we were chosen over the competition for our unique ability to manufacture curved SIPs. These were needed for the construction of the area that became known as the Pod.
