This is the sixth project that we have completed so far for David Hadfield Associates. When we received the initial planning drawings, we thought this would be an easy build, however, when we received the sections this was far from the case!
We had a ground floor staircase which started on one side of the partition wall and finished on the other as it reached the second floor. We then had a window on the second floor which was directly beneath where we required the ridge beam. David was able to solve the problem by designing a racking post that began on the ground floor and extended all the way to the underside of the ridge beam on the second floor.
