Using specialist structural engineers that we have worked with for over 10 years now who have a great understanding of structural performance of SIP panels, we are able to provide our clients with detailed engineering calculations for building control and warranty providers.
At Sips UK, we have a team of engineers with years of industry and technical experience, who are on hand to ensure every project meets the necessary engineering design criteria to comply with building regulations.
During the initial engineering process, our engineers use the architectural drawings provided by each client to produce detailed calculations of the necessary size of each structural insulated panel and the line and point loads throughout the building. These calculations can then also determine the need for any ancillary products including structural beams to support the roof or lintels for large openings.
