SIP panels are not only suitable for use as structural materials, but also as cladding and infill panels for oak, steel, and concrete frames, creating a beautiful modern exterior at the best price.
When used as cladding, SIPs can be wrapped around the steel or concrete structural frames to create the thermal envelope and provide racking stability as well possibly carry the rain screen cladding system (external facings). Alternatively, panels can be used to infill between the frame to create the bulk of the wall. These techniques are ideal for commercial and community buildings, where flexibility is needed and tight deadlines must be met.
